Tree Work
I fell and prune trees in most sizes, conditions and locations. As a single climber using ropes, not every job is right for me (such as those needing crane removal), but I'd love to see if I can help keep your property clean, safe and beautiful. While many homeowners can cut down a tree, it is also risky and potentially deadly without the proper equipment and skill. I'm here to reduce that risk for you and take the stress out of your tree work.
Felling and Removal
Dropping and removal of trees either piece by piece through climbing and rope rigging or in one cut depending on site conditions.
Basic price for climbing and cutting is $200/10ft at 12" diameter. Variations are based on increased diameter, number of trunks/stems, tree health or condition, location and obstacles, and removal requirements.

Pruning
Whether it's high up or on the ground, pruning and/or deadwooding is the partial removal of canopy material from your tree. Pruning is good for removing awkward or unsightly limbs, managing the size and shape of the plant, protecting nearby buildings or other trees, providing increased sunlight to the yard, or unweighting at-risk limbs or stems.
Deadwooding is removing the dead limbs or branches from a tree, which at best can be an ugly annoyance or at worst could be a risk for property damage or injury (such as "widow makers").
Depending on the situation (reachable from the ground or broad canopy reduction of a 100ft tree?), pruning can range from $40 - $200/hour.
Storm Clean-up and Emergencies
Storms can break or drop single limbs or multiple trees. Besides being unsightly, downed or broken trees in various conditions provide a serious risk to both people and property. "Small" limbs can weigh hundreds of pounds and break off at random times.

Additionally, if there is property damage, I offer the benefit of working with a single person on your clean up and repair. I have helped customers remove their broken trees and then repaired their property damage. I'm happy to provide estimates for insurance companies.
